Every other email app makes the same bet#

Open any inbox app built in the last decade and you will find the same promise underneath the branding: we will help you get through your email faster. Keyboard shortcuts, split views, snooze buttons, smarter search, AI that drafts replies at speed.

They are all optimising the same variable. Throughput.

That works right up until you notice the thing nobody says out loud: there is no amount of throughput that finishes an inbox. More speed against an infinite queue produces a faster infinite queue. You get better at email and email gets bigger. The reward for clearing your inbox is a fresh one tomorrow morning.

This is not a personal discipline problem, and it is not solved by trying harder. It is a structural property of the medium. Email is the only tool in your working life with no natural end state, which is why inbox zero has been so persistently misunderstood for twenty years. Merlin Mann never meant zero emails. He meant zero open decisions. Almost everyone heard the first one.

Swizero makes a different bet#

Instead of helping you move through an infinite inbox faster, Swizero shrinks the problem to only what actually needs you.

Our AI reads and scores every message by importance, then surfaces a fixed card limit: a ranked stack of the things that genuinely need a decision from you. Each card is distilled to its essence by an AI summary, so you are reading the point rather than mining for it.

Four swipe directions handle every outcome, one-handed, without menus:

• Left to delete
• Right to flag
• Up to reply

When the stack is empty, email is finished for that session. Not “inbox zero” as an aspiration you fail at by Wednesday. Finished, as a state you actually reach and then walk away from.

That finish line is the entire product. Everything else is in service of it.

What that means in practice#

It sits on top of Gmail. Swizero is not a new email address and not a migration. You connect the Gmail account you already use, and it keeps working exactly as it did everywhere else. Your existing labels, filters and threads are untouched. If you stop using Swizero tomorrow, nothing about your email has changed.

Nothing sends without you. The AI drafts replies in your voice and surfaces follow-up reminders when a thread has gone quiet, but there is no autonomous send. You approve every outbound message. This is a deliberate split from the direction most AI email tools are taking, and it is the line we do not intend to cross. Every action is undoable. A system that makes fast decisions on your behalf has to make reversing them equally fast, or you will not trust it enough to go fast in the first place.

Ranking happens on your device. The scoring model that decides what makes the cut runs locally. The AI output layer, summaries and draft replies, uses zero-retention cloud processing, meaning the provider does not store or train on your messages. Your email is not sitting in our database. Who this is not for#

Worth being direct about this, because the design has a real cost.

Swizero decides what makes the cut. If you want to see every message and triage it yourself, you will find the fixed card limit frustrating rather than freeing, and one of the other apps in this category will suit you better. There is no shame in that. Some people genuinely want the full stream.

It is also Gmail only right now, and iOS only. Outlook and Android are on the roadmap, not in your hands today.
